I grew up in San Francisco and always loved art. I studied in a summer course with Ruth Asawa and with Wayne Theibaud and Roland Peterson at UC Davis. I am currently working on my MFA with the Academy of Art in San Francisco.

My favorite medium is pastels. They are wonderful to use and the colors are so beautiful. Currently, I am working on a number of floral drawings.

My art inspirational comes the natural world, especially beautiful flowers. Pastels can convey this beauty with their wonderful vibrant colors.
